Acxiom® Corporation (Nasdaq: ACXM), a global leader in interactive marketing services, officially opened its China Global Service Center (GSC) in Nantong today with Nantong Vice Mayor Shen Zhengxin and Acxiom CEO John Meyer presiding.

The center will provide extensive services that include software development, systems management, data analysis and statistical analysis to clients in China and around the world. The China facility is Acxiom’s second GSC, after Poland.

“The international service outsourcing market is moving towards China and the development of the Chinese outsourcing industry has been vigorously supported by the government,” said Mayor Ding Dawei in an earlier meeting with Acxiom CEO John Meyer. “Nantong will make the most of its regional advantages and talent pool to seize the best opportunities for supporting international enterprises such as Acxiom.”

Acxiom is part of a growing business community that has chosen Nantong because of the close proximity to universities and colleges.
