monitoring technologies, announced today that Walgreen Co. and AMAC
management have agreed upon a 2008 marketing strategy for the
Walgreens Ready Response Medical Alert program. Plans include the
launch of a new, product specific website, a media campaign and
new, interactive store signage that will be tested at select
stores. Launched earlier this month, the new website,
www.walgreensreadyresponse.com, offers many of the same key
features as the previous site; with a more user-friendly layout as
well an updated look and expanded product description. AMAC will
support the brand positioning through an integrated marketing
campaign, which includes a mix of television advertising and
Internet marketing. The brand-building effort represents the
continuation of an external media strategy designed to position
Walgreens Ready Response Medical Alert System as the trusted choice
in this product category. Walgreens will introduce interactive
store signage in certain test markets to determine its
