Robotics Stock #2: Arbe Robotics
Israel-based Arbe Robotics Ltd. (ARBE) is revolutionizing the radar landscape with its cutting-edge Perception Radar solutions. The company claims that its radar technology offers 100 times more detail than any other radar available on the market, setting new standards for driver-assist systems and paving the way for fully autonomous driving.
ARBE’s radar technology is essential for L2+ and higher autonomy levels. Serving automakers, Tier 1 suppliers, and various safety applications, Arbe is redefining advanced sensing. Valued at $148.4 million by market cap, shares of Arbe are down 13.8% on a YTD basis.

Arbe reported its Q2 earnings results on Aug. 6, which crushed Wall Street’s projections on both the top and bottom lines. The company’s revenue of $409,000 was up 41.5% annually, while its adjusted net loss of $0.09 per share marked a solid improvement from the year-ago quarter’s adjusted loss per share of $0.13. By comparison, Wall Street had forecast $300,000 in revenue and an $0.11 loss per share.
During the quarter, the company reached a significant milestone by securing the selection of its imaging radar by a top OEM and a major European truck manufacturer, underscoring its market appeal and technological validation.
Furthermore, the company’s balance sheet appears strong. As of June 30, Arbe's financial position includes $8.8 million in cash and cash equivalents and $17.7 million in short-term bank deposits.
“Arbe is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for advanced radar systems, and we anticipate an increase in sales and market share in the near future," said CEO Kobi Marenko.
Looking forward to fiscal 2024, the company expects revenue to remain steady compared to fiscal 2023 levels, with growth projected for fiscal 2025 as production ramps up in the latter half of the year.
By concentrating solely on chipset production, the company is committed to maintaining a solid balance sheet and ensuring cost-effectiveness to support its revenue growth. That said, despite ongoing operational losses and negative cash flow, Arbe's current and anticipated funding, combined with management's strategic plans and revenue forecasts, ensure sufficient capital to support its operations in the near term.
ARBE stock has a unanimous “Strong Buy” rating from the three analysts in coverage.

The average analyst price target of $3.75 indicates a potential upside of 98.4% from current price levels.

ARBE is a great stock, make no mistake about it! They have a great product that none can match, and their technology is protected by many patents. If others use the tech, they will
have to buy a license. Others are wasting their resources on developing LIDAR, which is
vastly inferior.
And investors must remember and consider that Israel fighting for their very existence!
It seems that every muslim terrorist within missile range is trying to reduce Israel to dust.
The ARBE website has stated that they will not be producing until sometime in 2025.
They are instead building manufacturing facilities and further developing their products.
If investors have enough faith in a product to buy the company stock, then they should
take time and make the effort to understand "potential" of the company versus the unique
circumstances which that company is facing. There will not be soaring stock prices and
profit for the company and anyone else until products can be sold. Damn the stock charts.
And don't be surprised if your son/daughter can't win a chess match until they graduate
from wearing diapers. Apply some logic and enjoy your timely profits. Cheers !

Learn about Arbe's surround imaging radar, Lynx
author:Israeli scientific and technological innovation 2022-08-15 15:53:00
Enable 360-degree imaging and perception
Today's angle radars, due to their limited detection distances, insufficient computing power, low resolution, and inability to image, are unable to fuse with the vehicle's other sensors and provide perception. Angle radar collects information to help vehicles judge and react, and can be used for basic driver assistance functions such as side blind spot monitoring systems, side-by-side incoming warning systems, and dynamic obstacle tracking. However, angle radar cannot provide solutions for some of the more challenging situations, such as identifying stationary objects, determining the size and shape of objects, identifying cluttered and dense environments, and determining whether space is drivable.
Now, the situation is different.
Arbe is proud to introduce you to the orbital imaging radar Lynx. It is mainly installed in the four corners and rear of the vehicle and is designed to complement the Arbe Phoenix perception radar (48x48 channels) to cover the vehicle in all directions. Lynx offers multiple advantages and affordability – with true long-range performance, high resolution, small form factor and wide field of view, Lynx easily surpasses the industry's current 3x4-angle radar, and even surpasses the most advanced 12x16 long-range radar, with future-proof perception and outstanding imaging capabilities that are critical to helping vehicles achieve true safety and autonomous driving.

Arbe moves to production of 4D radar chipset
Business news | August 16, 2022
GlobalFoundries has completed chipset testing setup for mass production of the 4D automotive radar chipset developed by Arbe Robotics in Israel. The companies have shipped the first significant customer samples and signed a long-term manufacturing agreement.
Arbe has developed its own proprietary millimetre wave automotive grade radar RFIC chipset that includes a transmitter chip with 24 output channels and a receiver chip with 12 input channels and is built on a 22FDX FDSOI CMOS process.
Chinese Tier 1 ADAS supplier HiRain Technologies is developing OEM and autonomous driving projects with Imaging Radars based on Arbe’s chipset, with mass production by 2023.
Arbe also added two new customer engagements in Q2, including a truck OEM that is a leader in Level 2+ truck design, and a new mobility player focusing on Level 4 vehicles.

Radar crucial for autonomous driving, studies say
Other opportunities with Tier 1 suppliers would have volumes ranging from 400 thousand to 1 million systems per year. All of this means the company is on track to reach its $312m revenue goal for 2025, it says. Eight other projects could bring total potential revenues to $7.5bn by the end of the decade, it said.
