AUUD: Yep!! Myself, I believe that the ONLY way ADS can be systematically REMOVED from AM/FM radio in vehicles or at home --- or TV ads , etc., as well --- would be for a Google-like company to maintain a USA DATABASE of ALL radio & TV ads presently extant across America --- and, UPDATED micro-second-to-micro-second, every day. That, I believe would be the only way to DETECT such ads immediately when they begin to run on your favorite Radio or TV station, podcast, cable, or wherever. I.e., it is not likely that such ads can be detected SONICALLY nor VISUALLY from the existing Radio/TV news, talk, music, movies, etc., which Americans obviously WANT to see or hear. Bottom line, 'science' has struggled for decades to create such an ADS-REMOVAL gadget for TV, Radio, Internet, and more.

$AUUD will your next post will be new 52 week high?
Auddia, the company behind the streaming radio and podcast listening app Faidr, has secured the first partner for its beta podcast subscription program with Ultimate Motorcycling Magazine. Launched in March, Auddia’s program targets a show’s more casual listener, allowing them to access a single episode ad-free, without committing to a subscription to a podcast or its network.
For the beta program, which runs for 90 days and kicked off on July 1, all new Motos And Friends episodes on the Faidr app will be delivered through Auddia’s Seamless Play technology. For each play or download on the app, Auddia will compensate Ultimate Motorcycling. The company is not disclosing how much it will pay, but says the rate is “roughly double” what the average ad-supported podcast makes per download.
"We at the Motos And Friends understand the interruptive downside to advertising in podcasting, and we've always been thoughtful about integrating relevant sponsorship content into our episodes," said show host Arthur Coldwells. "Auddia's approach represents an attractive economic model for us, one that does not require interrupting the content the listener is enjoying, and we're excited to see how our audience responds."
In targeting the per-download or stream model, Auddia says it believes there is another segment of the market not yet being served by other subscription models. The pay-per-play beta program for podcasters and networks, which it is calling Seamless Play functionality, aims to treat podcast plays and downloads similar to streaming music, where content owners receive a direct payment based on how many streams they receive.
Partners in Auddia’s pay-per-play program will have their episodes downloaded in full, with ads included, but listeners will be given controls that allow them to fast forward through ad breaks automatically, rather than requiring the end user to manually fast forward. When subscribers play a partner’s episode, Auddia tracks the activity and delivers a payment based on the agreed-upon per-play rate, which is based on the podcast’s current revenue-per-play and average CPM.Auddia says each play or download will be logged, and partners will be compensated at an agreed-upon rate monthly.
“We’re thrilled to launch this partnership with Motos And Friends podcast,” Auddia CEO Michael Lawless said in the announcement. “From the beginning of developing the feature, our goal was to foster a stronger economic environment for podcasters. The creators behind Ultimate Motorcycling Magazine immediately understood what we were trying to achieve, and we’re excited to see how their listeners engage with our platform.”
Earlier this year Auddia said it was pivoting its podcast strategy to position itself not only as a distributor of shows on its Faidr app – which also has AM/FM and streaming radio – but also market its AI and Natural Language Processing technology to other podcast companies. The shift to licensing its software to third parties will also open a new revenue channel for the startup beyond its $5.99 per month subscription listening service.
