Coinbase Global Inc., a cryptocurrency exchange platform, announced Wednesday that its tool for helping users create and collect non-fungible tokens is now in beta testing.

Coinbase NFT, a Web3 social marketplace for NFTs, will initially allow beta testers to buy and sell without a translation fee, although one will be added at a later time, the company said.

The company wants the new platform to help users create communities and engage beyond transactions. Once a profile is created, users can follow other profiles, start conversations with comments and up or down vote comments, the company said.

Coinbase said it plans to add more features to the tool in the coming months.
