HKBN Receives Global Entrepolis@Singapore 2005 Award

Network Limited ("HKBN") was confirmed as the winner of the Global
Entrepolis@Singapore 2005 (GES) Award for its Mass Market 100 Mbps
Residential Broadband Service. The GES Award is presented by The
Asian Wall Street Journal in association with the Economic
Development Board of Singapore. The GES Award honors Asia's
emerging Technopreneur of the Year. Judging is based on innovation
in the application of technology to a strong business model with
commercial potential to be an industry or market leader. The award
recognizes HKBN's success in the deployment of advanced Metro
Ethernet technology, thus providing broadband connections that are
significantly faster than that of other phone-network Internet
service providers in Hong Kong, yet at a network cost well below
