ADRs Close Mixed Friday; GW Pharma, Ctrip, Carnival Plc Actively Traded

International stocks trading in New York closed mixed on
Friday.
GW Pharmaceuticals PLC, Carnival plc and Ctrip.com International
Ltd. were among the companies with ADRs that traded actively.
The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts
fell 0.8% to 137.19. The European index increased less than 0.1% to
127.56, the Asian index dropped 2.3% to 161.50, the Latin American
index rose less than 0.1% to 222.90 and the emerging markets index
decreased 2.2% to 288.89.
ADRs of GW Pharmaceuticals PLC (GWPH) fell 7.6% to $116.41.
MarketWatch reported Friday that Oppenheimer lowered their
near-term and long-term revenue expectations and also dropped its
price target on the company by $6 to $233.
ADRs of Carnival plc (CUK) fell 0.9% to $41.96. Carnival on
Thursday lowered its adjusted profit guidance for the fiscal year.
A number of firms have cut their price targets on the company.
ADRs of Ctrip.com International Ltd. (CTRP) fell 2.7% to $29.02.
The company said that $28 per ADS is where its secondary ADS
offering by Baidu Holdings Ltd., a Ctrip.com shareholder, is
priced. The offering is for 31.3 million ADSs in the aggregate.
