Apr~June Seems to be Best Months for FFEX
in terms of share price spikes.

It'll take bit of patience, but I think FFEX will fill the gap back
to $1.50 by late spring to early summer.

There were a ton of shorting selling and they have to cover eventually in this thinly traded stock.

I suspect we'll see a bounce to $1.20 or above in the near future.

Because it's oversold and shorts have to cover to profit, and there aren't that many sellers or buyers in this thinly traded stock.

50% drop is way too much.

Looks like improvement in overall operation cost, very unusual selling on this stock over a minor drop in 3Q revenue.

I'm picking up as many shares as I can near .81 to .82.

Judging by the past 3 quarters....looks like absolute worst case fuel costs are $1 million worse than fuel surcharge expected and even that would be a shock.

I'd be surprised if EPS is under .07, annualized PE under 7 for a listed stock, outlook for much better.

FFEX -- talked to IR. They say the ONLY reason the EBITDA slide was pulled off of the most recent presentation was because the CFO was unable to attend that particular presentation and would be the one to answer questions regarding financials so they decided to pull that from the slides for the sole reason that he wouldn't be there to answer questions about it.

I was further informed that as of that presentation the EBITDA comfort level was still within the $5 to $7 million EBITDA range, but he couldn't comment further as he's seen the final numbers already.

It was also mentioned that the only variable that's unpredictable at this point is fuel costs. He didn't think the drought had a material impact on them in terms of reefer rates. He also didn't think the heat wave would have a material effect on fuel costs but would get back to me on that.

He also mentioned the difference between 2 year old fleet and 3 year old fleet has a dramatic impact on gas mileage ironically and that their fleet being maintained as new is consuming a lot less fuel than when it was maintained at 3+ years old.

Finanlly it was mentioning, though a bit early to quantify for sure, that a positive additional effect of the driver's school is a reduced acccident and claims cost associated with the new drivers out of the school then the drivers they hire from outside of the company.

Bottom line -- only thing we have to worry about is fuel surcharges lagging behind sudden spikes in fuel prices.

I'll look at it again, maybe for a bounce, at $1.39...

This was a pretty decent technical pick back in July... but, don't see that it has much going for it now...

Right now, there's hardly any point in doing DD on this thing, given the overwhelmingly negative patterns in the charts...

With just a quick look, though, I've found a good number of problems that seem they're not currently being addressed in the DD effort here.

You must be confused with some other pinksheet garbage. FFEX averages less than 100,000 in volume a day. 4.6 million shorted last week? ROFL!!!

Just looking at the charts... and they're showiing 4.58 million shares shorted last week... ??

I don't have a reason to think the charts are wrong...

Also don't have a reason to think that scams are confined to the pink sheets... given plenty of proofs that the listing exchange has virtually ZERO relevance in validating management intent...

I'm only starting my DD here... but, don't like it very much that the first couple of issues I've looked at indicate issues... suggesting an effort in "fluffing" over problems with an effort in promotion.

You must be thinking of some non-SEC reporting pinksheet trash and have the wrong ticket. FFEX trades on the NASDAQ.

Dead wrong. Their depreciation method is within GAAP accounting rules and just proves to be overly conservative.

There is no fictional gain. It's just a wash that their GAAP-legally-chosen method of depreciation tends to book depreciation faster than the asset depreicates in the real world. This is actually very common with depreciation across most fully reporting companies.

Not yesterday... that's the weekly total from last week.

Looks like this thing has been being run up on questionable promotion, and now is being shorted...

In your post, you said they'd been manipulating the accounting in the depreciation of equipment, and then selling the equipment while claiming a fictional gain...

The exact words were:

"Keep in mind -- they have sale of equipment every quarter and Q2 was in line with all of the previous quarters.

Based on their ratio targets as another poster pointed out, it seems like they're targetting average .20 to .25 EPS per Q or .80 to 1.00 per year for a stock trading under $2.00.....

Tangible book value 2.42/share as of last quarter. Still trading under $2.00 with explosive earnings coming? Heck, even annualizing last Q makes the price still cheap. Heeeeeello lol.

No brainer risk/reward IMO.

FFEX going to EXPLODE IMO. Here's why:

(1) FFEX earned .06 EPS last Q and guidance implies .26 EPS for the 2nd half of the year. If they hit their guidance, which I think they'll easily beat, FFEX should explode fast.

(2) FFEX is a huge turnaround story. After 4 years of restructuring, cost cutting, selling off unprofitable assets and investing in profitable ones, FFEX earned their first profitable Q last quarter since the recession began in 2008 with guidance of "conservative" (their words) of +.26 EPS for the 2nd half of the year or +.52 annualized. FFEX used to trade over $10 and pay a dividend along with a share buyback and even over $4 just last year. In short, management has a long history of success so I expect this successful turnaround to accelerate.

(3) Industry demand plus a industry capacity shortage suggests earnings and growth will continue for some time. Management expects continued profitability.

(4) There is a lot of institutional following and ownership. I think once these earnings coming come out, the stock will make a quick since it's already on many radars but many people may not be understanding the guidance figures and how easily they are attainable based on the success FFEX had mapped out and executed.

(5) FFEX has a small float of 12.19 and trades under book value.

(6) FFEX has a tiny but exploding niche in water transportation for the fracking industry that just started the end of last year, but it has very high margins and growth. From the 10Q: "Water transport services revenue grew approximately 60% compared to the first quarter of 2012 and 290% compared to the fourth quarter of 2011, which was the first full quarter of operation."
