Galaxy Technologies Announces Boyington as New President and Chief Executive Officer

Galaxy Technologies Corporation (“Galaxy”), located in Winfield,
KS announced today the appointment of retired Rear Admiral John E.
(Ed) Boyington, Jr. as President and Chief Executive Officer. Rear
Admiral Boyington’s military career includes more than 600 armed
combat missions in Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, Bosnia, and Kosovo.
Following retirement, Boyington joined L-3 as a senior executive
and has served as a senior executive with DRS Technologies.
“Ed’s deep understanding of the aerospace and defense markets,
along with his proven leadership skills and overall business
approach, will make him an invaluable leader to Galaxy as it
progresses through the commercial aerospace industry upturn and
pursues new opportunities in the defense markets,” stated Jim
