Greene County Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ/NM: GCBS) today announced
that its management will participate in Keefe, Bruyette &
Woods' Sixth Annual Community Bank Investor Conference, which takes
place in New York City July 25-27. Stan Puckett, Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer of the Company, will represent Greene County
Bancshares at the conference. The Company's investor presentation
is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, July 27, 2005,
and will be available to investors via a live audio/video webcast.
