Gilat Awarded Over $5 Million Order from the US Department of Defense

Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ, TASE: GILT), a worldwide
leader in satellite networking technology, solutions, and services,
announced today that the US Department of Defense awarded over $5
million for baseband equipment to one of the company’s US-based
subsidiaries, DataPath.
The baseband networking solution will be used with the company’s
DKET 3421 terminals, which are transportable satcom hubs that
deliver the operational flexibility, capacity, connectivity, and
control required to ensure success anywhere in the world. By
supplying the baseband equipment, the company is completing the
customer’s ability to field a completed, turnkey satellite
communications architecture.
