Partnership With T-Mobile HotSpot Makes Shared Vision of
Ubiquitous, Enhanced Security and Reliable Wi-Fi Availability a
Reality for Corporate Users MILPITAS, Calif., Sept. 8
/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GoRemote (NASDAQ: GRIC) today announced a
distribution agreement with T-Mobile HotSpot that will enable
corporations to access the T-Mobile HotSpot network via the
GoRemote Global Network(TM). Now, enterprise IT managers and CIOs
can provide their mobile workers with a seamless experience to
connect to the T-Mobile HotSpot network through the GoRemote Mobile
Office(TM) solution. This agreement stands to accelerate the
adoption of enterprise Wi-Fi usage by combining the largest
commercial Wi-Fi network in North America with the world's largest
virtual business network. T-Mobile HotSpot, already known as the
leader for reliable Wi-Fi choices for business professionals, owns
and operates the largest carrier-grade, commercial Wi-Fi network in
the United States, providing access at more than 6,000 convenient
locations. The GoRemote Global Network(TM) is the world's largest
virtual business network, and with the addition of T-Mobile, will
include more than 30,000 wireless broadband access points in 70
countries including approximately 500 airports, 6,100 hotels and
140 convention centers. By adding the T-Mobile Hotspots to
GoRemote's existing global wired network, GoRemote will now be able
to offer its customers more than 60,000 wired and wireless access
points in more than 150 countries. "Business professionals continue
to tell us they want to stay connected in comfortable environments
so they can access what matters most to them," said Joe Sims, vice
president and general manager of T-Mobile HotSpot. "This agreement
with GoRemote provides enterprise customers with more choice and
another option to conveniently connect to the T-Mobile HotSpot
network." "GoRemote and T-Mobile have similar visions of widespread
adoption of wireless broadband by the enterprise," said Tom Thimot,
CEO of GoRemote. "By combining the strength of T-Mobile's
commercial Wi-Fi network with GoRemote's enterprise focus, we are
delivering the ubiquitous access, enhanced security and reliability
enterprises and their users need." About GoRemote GoRemote Internet
