Pepperjam Launches Efficient Click Pricing Technology

Pepperjam Network, a GSI Commerce® company (Nasdaq: GSIC) and
leader in online performance marketing, today announced the launch
of efficient click pricing (“ECP”) as a means by which merchants
can compensate publishers for driving targeted traffic to their
stores. Efficient click pricing provides merchants and publishers
with an additional compensation model to the current revenue
sharing commission structure primarily utilized on the Pepperjam
performance marketing platform. This technology provides enhanced
flexibility for affiliate marketing campaigns by enabling merchants
to compensate publishers on a cost per click (“CPC”) basis governed
by the quality and conversion metrics of their traffic.

Merchants who wish to take advantage of this tracking technology
will be able to easily integrate ECP offers into their current
revenue share programs on the Pepperjam Network. When creating ECP
campaigns, merchants will have the option to work with as many or
as few publishers on a CPC basis as desired, and publishers will be
invited to participate in these campaigns. Historical conversion
rates, new customer acquisition, and average margin on products
sold are just some of the data points used to establish ECP rates.
As with all offers in the Pepperjam Network, all commissioning
changes and offers are transparent and highlighted to each partner
who wishes to participate in a campaign.
