SpatiaLight Hires Plant Manager for South Korean Facility

Plant Manager Charged With Increasing Production Ramp-Up NOVATO,
Calif., Aug. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SpatiaLight, Inc.
(NASDAQ:HDTV), a leading developer and manufacturer of ultra
high-resolution Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS) microdisplays for
the high definition television market, today announced it has hired
a plant manager for its manufacturing facility in South Korea. The
new plant manager will have the responsibility of increasing
productivity to meet the demand of SpatiaLight's customers. Kang
Wan "Kevin" Lee (50) comes to SpatiaLight with approximately 22
years of experience in semiconductor production and sales. Most
recently, Mr. Lee was Vice President of Engineering and Fab
Operations at Nano-Tech Silicon India, where he supervised the
first Mega Fab project in India, an 8-inch wafer with 30,000/Month
capacity. Prior to his tenure at Nano-Tech Silicon India, Mr. Lee
was Vice President of Sales at Donbu Anam Semiconductor, Inc., of
Seoul, Korea. Mr. Lee received a M.S. in Material Science from
Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in 1981, and
graduated with a B.S. Metallurgical Engineering from Hanyang
University in Korea. Dave Hakala, Chief Operating Officer,
