Light Science Technologies CEO on 2024 revenue growth, H2 profitability and strong outlook
Light Science Technologies Holdings PLC (AIM:LST) CEO Simon Deacon takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the company’s strong financial results for 2024 and its strategic plans for the future. The company reported a 29.5% increase in revenue, reaching £12 million, up from £9.3 million the previous year. Deacon highlighted an improvement in gross margin from 23.4% to 30.3%, which has helped drive the company closer to profitability. The Agtech division saw significant growth, with revenue increasing by 250%. The company now offers a broad range of solutions, including lighting, sensors, irrigation, and control systems, with a £40 million quoted pipeline. Arizona Gold & Silver: 8 for 8 success at Philadelphia Project
Arizona Gold & Silver Inc. CEO Mike Stark takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the latest drilling results at the Philadelphia Project in Arizona. Stark highlighted that the company has achieved an 8 for 8 success rate in its infill drilling program, demonstrating strong mineralization both along strike and down dip. Discussing the Rising Fawn target, he noted the consistency of grades between 1.0 to 1.5 grams per tonne, with a 50-meter-wide vein extending beyond 200 meters in depth. This consistency supports the company’s goal of developing a bulk-tonnage, low-grade, heap-leachable resource. Additionally, Stark mentioned that hole 136 could be one of the most promising yet, with visual indicators suggesting high-grade mineralization. He also confirmed that holes 137, 138, and 139 have been completed, with assay results expected soon. Looking ahead, the company remains focused on further drilling and analyzing upcoming assay results, which could influence the next phase of exploration. Stark also noted a strengthened treasury following recent warrant and option exercises, ensuring continued progress at the Philadelphia Project. Proactive - Interviews for investors
St George Mining’s dual track growth plan
St George Mining Ltd executive chairman John Prineas talked with Kerry Stevenson at Proactive about the company's recent acquisition of the Araxá niobium and rare earths project in Brazil. The deal, completed in February, provides St George with an advanced-stage project with high-grade niobium and rare earth elements. Prineas highlighted niobium’s strategic importance, noting that it is primarily used to strengthen steel, with additional applications in medical technology, batteries, and defence. He emphasised the commodity's stable pricing due to limited global supply. The company secured A$20 million in funding to advance the project and is preparing a JORC-compliant mineral resource estimate, expected in the coming weeks. The existing data, based on historical drilling, indicates a 20-year mine life and a US$956 million NPV under a previous non-JORC study. St George aims to optimise the project for niobium, conduct further drilling, and expand the resource. Prineas also addressed Brazil's mining jurisdiction, highlighting strong government support and agreements to expedite approvals. The company is pursuing a dual-track strategy, progressing toward development while ramping up exploration drilling to expand the resource base. Stay tuned for more updates! Altech Batteries Secures Key German Licensing Approval
Altech Batteries Ltd CFO Martin Stein talked with Proactive about the company’s recent milestone—securing final licensing approval for its CERENERGY battery plant in Germany. This approval marks a crucial step, allowing Altech to proceed with construction once financing is secured. Stein explained the significance of grid storage batteries in stabilising renewable energy supply and outlined the advantages of Altech’s sodium fluoride-based CERENERGY batteries. Unlike traditional lithium-based solutions, these batteries are fire-safe and free from critical minerals like lithium, cobalt, and graphite. Discussing financing, Stein highlighted Altech’s engagement with corporate advisors KPMG to secure equity and debt partners. He also noted potential government grants and subsidies in Germany, though political transitions have created some uncertainty. Despite this, Stein expressed confidence in securing funding, backed by offtake agreements for the plant’s first five years of production. With an estimated 18-24 month construction timeline, Altech aims to play a key role in Europe's transition to sustainable energy storage solutions.
