Kintera(R), Inc. (Nasdaq:KNTA) today announced MedStar Health has
signed a multi-year agreement to use Kintera Contact Relationship
Management (CRM) and Kintera Prospect Relationship Management to
centralize MedStar's fundraising systems and expand their
fundraising revenue. MedStar Health is a nonprofit, community-based
healthcare organization serving the Baltimore/Washington region.
MedStar Health will integrate the donor databases of each of its
seven hospitals and two additional MedStar Health organizations
into Kintera CRM, enabling the organization's development officers
to easily manage a single set of supporter records and track the
progress of turning prospects into donors. The centralized
information will provide MedStar Health greater insight into
supporter behavior and the ability to focus resources to increase
fundraising results. In addition, MedStar has selected Kintera
Prospect Relationship Management to find and cultivate its best
donor prospects. Integrated within Kintera CRM, the product suite
offers Prospect Information Network (P!N) Electronic Screening(TM)
to help MedStar find, profile and rank potential donors. Using P!N
Electronic Screening, the organization can determine a donor's
affinity toward MedStar, financial capacity to give and propensity
to behave as a major, planned or annual donor. The product suite
also features P!N Opps, which enables MedStar Health development
officers to manage the fundraising lifecycle with detailed
reporting and data tracking. "All MedStar organizations will now be
able to better identify and cultivate our existing and potential
donors using Kintera's robust applications," said Dennis McClellan,
corporate vice president of Development at MedStar Health.
"Streamlining information and targeting key prospects will enable
us to run more effective fundraising campaigns. We also look
forward to making use of many of Kintera's other capabilities in
the coming years." "Kintera's CRM and prospect identification
innovations are helping our clients, such as MedStar, run more
successful fundraising campaigns by improving functionality,
lowering administrative costs and targeting the right donors," said
Dennis Chyba, senior vice president of Knowledge Products for
Kintera. For more information about Kintera CRM, please visit

the communities we serve. We contribute approximately $73 million
