cuda-q is networking of all known and future distributed computing assets employed or considered in the architecture. how to make it like the assets sitting next to you? northwestern univ showing quantum teleportation over 30km...they say first you obtain entanglement and then you get the teleportation. that sounds like the holy grail of the quantum networking...the creator sends the invitation to the desired or requesting user/data center and the client installs the entanglement which then allows the teleportation.....wasn't that supposed to be decades away? and they say what allows the use of ordinary public use fiberoptic channels is special frequencies of messaging?

From an article about Musk raising $6 billion in funding for his Xai company:

Musk was likely underscoring the vast amount of processing power needed to train and run AI models, which has fueled enormous demand for microchips and underpinned a roughly eightfold rise in Nvidia stock since the start of 2023.

xAI, founded in March last year, raised $6 billion at a post-money valuation of $24 billion in its Series B round in May. The Wall Street Journal reported in late November that it had raised a further $5 billion at a $50 billion valuation. It appears xAI ultimately raised a bigger round of $6 billion, but the valuation wasn't disclosed.

The following is an interesting read. It basically states in the near term Nvidia will not have as good of a market due to a number of things such as competition like ASICS. However, it also states as time goes on and more of the market develops, their numbers will increase at a higher rate than alternatives.

apple schism with nvidia might be more of an and/or thing. ai on device or off device. given quantum processing will be more likely off device and supercomputers same, apple might make their own on device ai chips but will still rely on networking ip of nvidia for the more robust requirements, including collaborative work?

Just checked my chart belatedly and am surprised:

Nvda share price had a Double Top Breakout on 23-Dec-2024. Surprise, surprise.

I guess I got bored of checking again and again... feeling the share price got stuck in a rut.

Let us see if this could develop into an uptrend for a change... breaking the $153 resistance?

No idea. The first article I read was in 2022 as far as strained relationships. Then there was an artiicle about Apple and Nvidia doing something but the author stated it most likely happen. I don't know if the author in the link I indicated is just rehashing old news.

A must listen interview with Vivek Arya a BoA analyst. His feeling is Nvidia does have some short term issues which he thinks should be resolved in 2-3 months concerning Blackwell chips.

I agree the stock is trying to find a bottom and it shouldn't be that. Trying to find a bottom isn't what an investor is looking for but that's all ones going to get other than 2nd or 3rd party estimates or explanation.

You answered by point. That's basically why the stock has a difficult time staying above 140. Currently the only ones making money are the traders. This company makes it easy to play the stock. I think Jensen to take a few lessons from Broadcom CEO.

We'll know when the company says, "There were XXXXX units of Blackwell chips shipped".

That's the ONLY source anyone should be quoting or listening to.

Any other number is A GUESS and is most likely not accurate.

I posted links to others. One was positive. You seem to only look at positive ones and always dismiss the skeptical or negative ones. BTW how many Blackwell chips will be shipped in Q1. How about how many in Q2. What does production on track mean. Without numbers it means little. It also seems little to the traders/market. You seem to be content with vague responses which leaves it up to analysts to figure it out. Again 2nd and 3rd party articles. Don't hold your breath waiting for the company/Jensen tp give out numbers unless you're willing to wait every 4 months. No wonder the stock can't hold.
