Pineapple Energy surges after securing New York solar project
Pineapple Energy (NASDAQ:PEGY) +21.8% pre-market Tuesday after saying its SUNation subsidiary signed a deal to begin work in July on a 1.95 MW commercial installation project for "a large building" in New York City.
Pineapple Energy (PEGY) said the unnamed developer has more than 200 MW of energy in its projected renewables pipeline nationally.
The developer chose SUNation "due to their extensive interconnection knowledge in the state of New York as well as their successful track record of delivering projects on time and on budget," the company said.
