New General Counsel Has Extensive Experience in Cyber Security Issues ARLINGTON, Va., May 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The Cyber Security Industry Alliance (CSIA) announced that Liz Gasster has joined the organization as general counsel. "Liz brings extensive experience in cyber security issues and will be a valuable addition to our team," said CSIA Executive Director Paul Kurtz. Gasster spent over 26 years at AT&T, most recently as Public Policy Director and Senior Attorney, Federal Government Affairs. During her tenure at AT&T, she was responsible for developing and coordinating policy positions on a broad range of e-commerce, technology and intellectual property issues, including privacy, network security and critical infrastructure protection, and trademark and copyright policy. Gasster was responsible for advocacy on these issues with the U. S. Congress, federal departments and agencies, and with various industry associations and coalitions. In addition, Gasster created AT&T's Technology Center in Washington, DC, which focuses on the impact of public policy on the development of information technology and infrastructure.
