Since the buyout of SHLOQ debt, will the new owners promote this ticker? I would like to think so. Because it would raise moral of their employees, SHLOQ being peoples retirements are in shareholders of the company. A little PR would be nice along with filings. Maybe some day. Presently, mums the word along with silence.

Doc Holliday Doc Holliday 4 years ago
Yes, if they do nothing to the shares they keep them as is and keep trading as is. It is not up to the judge or company if they stay on the OTC. I don't know what is going on there. Judges usually like to see nothing done to commons. But a company can do as they please.
πŸ‘οΈ0
taterrater taterrater 4 years ago
Thanks for the reply. When you say they could void them or do nothing, and that the judge usually wants the common holders not to be impacted, does that mean that if they 'do nothing' they will continue to be traded OTC so that they shareholders keep their shares? If the judges preference is common holders are not impacted, what would the judge in that case like to see done to protect them? Sorry - very new to this and appreciate your input.

Chapter 11 is reorganization. That means they are not going bankrupt and are just going to reorganize the company. Nothing will be returned to the shareholders. They could do many things with the commons. They could void them out or do nothing. Judges usually wish that shareholders are not hurt in whatever they do.

Volume usually exceeds shares when there is a lot of flipping. Then shares may be traded a few times a day. The volume today is very low.

Hello Doc, Can i bother you with a quick question? Looking at your posts you seem to be well informed. I have a (small) position in SHLO and no experience in chapter 11 scenarios. At then end of the process will there be some amount of equity that will be returned to common stockholders? If yes then do you have any idea as to what to expect? Thanks in advance.

Nice. The court granted them to forget the bankruptcy and do a chapter reorganization Chapter 11 instead. They will go to court the 9th or 10th and file the Chapter 11. Court already said it can't affect the shareholders. This stock was at $15 and is still listed as a big board stock and trades on extended hours. They have to bring up the price to stay on the big board exchange.
