Supertex (NASDAQ: SUPX), a recognized leader in high voltage analog and mixed signal integrated circuits (ICs), today introduced MD1820, MD1821 and MD1822, a family of four channel, high voltage, high speed MOSFET driver ICs. These ICs are designed to drive complementary P- and N-channel MOSFETs in applications that require high speed and high output current, such as medical ultrasound imaging, nondestructive testing (NDT) equipment, and CCD-based products, including high-resolution cameras and scanners.

This family of drivers offers various output configurations. MD1820 has four non-inverting outputs while MD1821 has four inverting outputs. MD1822 has two inverting and two non-inverting outputs. All of them are available in a compact, 3mm x 3mm, 16-lead, QFN package, making them well suited for the space constraint of compact medical ultrasound applications. These ICs feature matched six-nanosecond rise and fall time and very low jitter which are essential to ensure accurate Doppler measurements and clearer imaging.
