IXYS Gets Selected Into The Silicon Valley 150 List; Progressing In The Top 100

IXYS Corporation (NASDAQ:SYXI) announced today that it was listed
again in the San Jose Mercury News "SV150," Silicon Valley's
Largest Publicly Traded Companies. The Silicon Valley 150 ranks
public companies that are headquartered in Silicon Valley on the
basis of worldwide yearly revenues, mostly for calendar 2005. It
took about $111 million in 2005 revenues to make the list this
year. The report was published in the Business section of the San
Jose Mercury News on Monday, April 10, 2006. IXYS Corporation has
climbed in this list for the last four years, making it to the top
100 ranked companies. In this year's report, IXYS was ranked as the
97th largest company, moving up from the 100th place earned last

Hewlett Packard, Intel and Cisco at the top. We are proud of our
