CALGARY, ALBERTA (the Partnership) today announced the board of directors of TC PipeLines GP, Inc., its general partner, has declared the Partnership's fourth quarter 2007 cash distribution in the amount of US$0.665 per unit, increasing the current annualized distribution from $2.64 per unit to $2.66 per unit. This distribution is payable on February 14, 2008 to unitholders of record as of January 31, 2008.

The cash distribution is the 35th consecutive quarterly distribution paid by the Partnership and represents an 11 per cent increase over the distribution declared for the fourth quarter 2006.

The Partnership will release its fourth quarter 2007 financial results after markets close on Thursday, February 21, 2008. Analysts, members of the public, the media and other interested parties are invited to participate in a teleconference and audio webcast on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 12 p.m. (Eastern).
