Commencing October 2005, Jet Airways, India's leading airline, will
be the first domestic airline in India to offer a distinctive
online facility of Web Check-in to all its valued passengers. This
specialized Web Check-in facility is currently available for
passengers holding a confirmed and valid e-ticket, anytime between
48 hours and 60 minutes prior to their flight departure, in 29 of
the airline's destinations across India. E-tickets can be issued
through travel agents, Jet Airways portal, and Jet Airways airport
and city offices. With this, Jet Airways has introduced yet another
pioneering initiative that allows customers not only to select
their preferred seat but also to print their boarding pass for
their same day return flight on www.jetairways.com. Peter Luethi,
chief operating officer, Jet Airways (India) Limited said, "Jet
Airways further strengthens its commitment for the growth of the
Indian aviation industry through a new emerging technology. This
newly-launched Web Check-in facility provides yet another step
towards a seamless and hassle free air travel experience." After
successfully launching online bookings where passengers can book,
pay and print their e-tickets on the Web, Jet Airways, now with the
help of this new technology goes a step further to provide maximum
convenience and comfort to its customers. This Web Check-in
application has been developed by Sabre Airline Solutions, leading
