Visteon Honors Detroit High School Senior with National Association of Black Automotive Suppliers' Scholarship Award

VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, Mich., April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Crystal I.
Pratt, a senior at Detroit's Cass Technical High School, was named
Visteon Corporation's (NYSE:VC) Visteon Scholar at the National
Association of Black Automotive Suppliers' (NABAS) 18th Annual
Scholarship Awards Banquet on April 11 at Cobo Center in Detroit.

Henry S. Martin Jr., associate director of Visteon's supplier
diversity development program, presented the $20,000 scholarship
award to Ms. Pratt. "This is the second year Visteon has supported
the NABAS Scholarship Fund," said Martin. "Being part of the NABAS
program reinforces our company's commitment to diversity and it is
an honor to contribute to, and invest in, the future automotive
careers of promising young people such as Crystal." Ms. Pratt, of
Detroit, was selected for the award based on her academic
achievements, community involvement and leadership roles in
organizations including Detroit Manufacturing Partnership School,
and Cass Technical High School's Earth Tomorrow Club and Women's
Issues Club. Pratt also is active in the Detroit Academy of
Environmental Sciences, Detroit Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Teens
and the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored
People) Detroit Youth Council. Pratt plans to attend North Carolina
A&T State University in the fall to study architectural design
and engineering. NABAS, formed in 1986, serves as a vital
communication link between black- owned automotive suppliers and
automotive manufacturers. The organization facilitates a
scholarship fund, provides seminars and supports networking
opportunities for its members. NABAS has offices in Detroit and
