The office and its partners have a goal of raising $1,500 for the Reachout & Run 5K Walk/Run on April 21.

EMERYVILLE, Calif., April 11, 2013 - A large number of agents and staff members in the Baltimore office of ZipRealty, Inc. (http://www.ziprealty.com) (NASDAQ: ZIPR), the leading online residential real estate brokerage and technology provider, are participating in a fundraiser to assist HopeWell Cancer Support, a Maryland-based nonprofit that helps people affected by cancer, according to Janet Freund, District Coordinator of ZipRealty's Baltimore office. ZipRealty, in partnership with Movement Mortgage and Advantage Title, has committed to be part of the Reachout & Run 5K Run/Walk taking place on April 21 at Gloucher College in Towson, Md.

Reachout & Run is the largest source of funding for HopeWell's programs, which support people with cancer, their families and loves ones. All of HopeWell's programs are offered free of charge and are open to people at any stage of their journey through cancer.

"About 25 ZipRealty agents and staffers have agreed to be part of this 5K," says Mrs. Freund. "So many home buyers in the Baltimore area have purchased or listed their homes through ZipRealty, and also used the services of Movement Mortgage and Advantage Title. Because of the community's ongoing support of our businesses, we wanted to show our gratitude by giving back in a meaningful way that will impact the lives of so many," she notes.

"We owe a great deal of thanks to our two partners, Movement and Advantage, whose generosity also helped make this possible," Mrs. Freund says of ZipRealty's participation in Reachout & Run. Both firms sponsored ZipRealty's t-shirts.

Founded in 1993, Brooklandville, Md.-based HopeWell Cancer Support assists people affected by cancer who need more than just medical care. The nonprofit organization's programs are designed to complement the medical system by helping people with cancer and their loved ones cope with the impact of a cancer diagnosis. HopeWell offers a range of programs and activities, including support groups, educational seminars, exercise classes and social activities that allow people to access a community of support that is unmatched in the Baltimore area, according to HopeWell's website.

To date, ZipRealty's Reachout & Run team, the "Zippy Zipsters" has raised nearly $1,000, three-quarters of its ultimate fundraising goal of $1,500, says Mrs. Freund.
