Fields and Jeffrey E. Anthony have joined Atlantic Trust Pell Rudman in Boston. Fields and Anthony, both managing directors, will serve as senior relationship managers responsible for helping individuals and their families, endowments, and foundations define financial and investment goals and implement strategies to reach them. He began his career as a research analyst with Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company. Alan is an active member of the Boston community where he serves as director of the Josiah W. Hayden Recreational Centre, trustee of the Town of Lexington Retirement Fund, chairman of the trustees of Public Trusts in Lexington, and treasurer of the Cary Memorial Foundation. Additionally, Alan serves as a member of the Boston Committee on Foreign Relations and on the investment committees of both Wellesley College and Combined Jewish Philanthropies. He received a B.A. and MBA from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where he currently serves as a director of the UNC-Chapel Hill Center for Jewish Studies. Jeff Anthony also joins Atlantic Trust Pell Rudman with 35 years of experience, most recently with Harbor Capital Management Company where he served as chief executive officer of the private client group and was responsible for strategic planning, sales and marketing, product development, portfolio management and firm wide operations. He also served as chairman of the investment policy and account review committees and as a member of the board of directors. Previously, Jeff served as a general partner and managing director of Haldor Investment Advisors and vice president and Boston regional manager with SNC Investment Counseling, the high net worth investment management division of Shawmut National Bank. Jeff's prior experience includes 16 years in various roles with Old Stone Bank, including his roles as senior vice president in the money market group and vice president and trust officer in the trust department.
