BT Group in Talks to Make Philip Jansen Its New CEO -Sky News

--British telecommunications company BT Group is in advanced
discussions to appoint Philip Jansen, the outgoing co-chief
executive of Worldpay Inc., as its new CEO, Sky News reports,
citing unnamed sources.
--Mr. Jansen is BT's preferred candidate to replace Gavin
Patterson, who in June said he plans to step down later in 2018,
but has yet to accept the role, according to Sky News.
--News of BT's approach comes days after Worldpay said Mr.
Jansen--who led the payments processor through its merger with U.S.
rival Vantiv--would step down at the end of this year, Sky News
reports.
