--BT Group has become the first foreign company to be granted a license by Chinese authorities to sell telecoms services directly to customers in China, the Telegraph reports, citing company executives.

--BT already operates in China but will now be able to directly contract its business customers. The telecoms company put the move down to cooperation between the Chinese and U.K. governments, according to the newspaper.
