         Appointment of Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director

Crown Corporation Limited ("Crown" or "the Company"), the active management
company which recently listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM: CCO),
has appointed Dr. Jean-Pierre Regli as Chief Financial Officer and Executive
Director with immediate effect.  Prior to this, Dr. Regli held the roles of
Treasurer and Non Executive Director for the Company and full details of his
interests were set out in the AIM admission document dated 24th October 2003;
there are no further changes to report.


The appointment follows the award to Crown (announced 10 November 2003) of
multiple contracts relating to housing and essential infrastructure services in
Argentina with a combined total value of US$633 million (#380 million).  Dr.
Regli was instrumental in helping to generate the Argentinean contracts, for
which financial structure and financial guarantees are a crucial element.  Crown
will look to target further new business opportunities in similar emerging
markets and Dr. Regli's appointment as Chief Financial Officer highlights his
central role within the group on an ongoing basis.


Dr. Regli is a Swiss and an Italian citizen and has 18 years experience in the
security business, asset management and private banking. He started his
experience with Merrill Lynch International, where he was a Registered
Representative, and subsequently held several executive positions in Swiss
private banks with international operations, particularly in Italy and in the
Middle East.  He was the CEO of a Lugano-based private bank CIC Soginvest Banca,
owned by CIC Paris.


Currently, he operates from his own fiduciary firm, Fiduciaire Jean-Pierre Regli
in Lugano, where he manages assets for high net worth individuals and is the
legal adviser for international companies. With a Ph.D. in international law and
a command of six languages, Dr. Regli is the ideal candidate to take this role
with Crown which is set to be a highly proactive company on a global basis.
