International (NYSE:CIR) announced today that Kenneth W. Smith, the
Company's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, is
retiring from the Company effective December 31, 2007. Mr. Smith
has served the Company as CFO since April, 2000. David A. Bloss,

contributions to the success of CIRCOR during his seven year tenure
