sources and doesn't purport to be a comprehensive list.
Chevron (CVX) Tuesday advanced planned FCCU maintenance at its
Pascagoula, Mississippi, refinery; the work was originally
scheduled for January, a person familiar with operations at the
plant said. The unit was experiencing mechanical problems; the
repairs are expected to take 20 to 30 days.
Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) said Tuesday that work to repair a
leaking valve at the Beaumont refinery's coker gas plant will not
impact production. The work got underway on Nov. 29 and the leak
was isolated and contained.
Valero Energy (VLO) Tuesday said the FCCU at its Memphis,
Tennessee, refinery was shut unplanned for maintenance. The restart
timing is not yet known, but Valero does not expect it to be a
lengthy outage.

with an operations upset at its Houston, Texas, refinery, citing
the FCCU as a source of the release.
Exxon Mobil (XOM) Monday said planned turnaround maintenance at

involved in the turnaround that began on about September 28 are a
hydrocracker and a catalytic reformer Dow Jones Newswires reported
at that time.
ConocoPhillips (COP) Monday reported an emissions event at its
Sweeny, Texas, refinery owing to an upset at Unit 27 which was
previously identified as an FCCU. Adjustments were made to bring
the unit back into compliance, the co. said in a filing to
environmental regulators.

of units affected Sunday by unplanned maintenance to repair a
boiler water feed system in the West Plant section at its oil
refinery in Corpus Christi, Texas, the company said.
Exxon Mobil said Monday a process unit was taken out of service
on Friday as a precaution after a mechanical issue was discovered
during startup following Wednesday's power failure. The unit was
not identified and there is no restart estimate. Most of the other
units affected by Wednesday's power outage have returned to
service; one unit was in restart mode on Monday, the Co. said.
Total Petrochemicals USA (TOT) Friday experienced a release of
sulfur dioxide owing to a Scot Unit air compressor shut down at its
Port Arthur, Texas, oil refinery. Refinery personnel were working
to get the unit back on line, a filing to Texas environmental
regulators said.
Motiva Enterprises (RDSA, RDSB) Saturday reported an emissions
event at its Norco, La., refinery owing to equipment failure; no
further details were provided in the filing to environmental
regulators.
Valero Energy Friday said that a brief period of flaring at its
Port Arthur, Texas, refinery was not associated with production
units and had no impact on production.
Holly Corp. (HOC) Saturday reported a release of sulfur dioxide
at its Tulsa, Oklahoma, oil refinery, but did not know what caused
it, a filing to the U.S. National Response Center said.
Coffeyville Resources (CVI) Saturday reported an air release at
its Coffeyville, Kansas, oil refinery, citing equipment failure as
the cause of the incident. A report to the U.S. National Response
Center listed sulfur recovery unit 3 as the affected equipment.
