information is compiled from both official and unofficial refining
sources and doesn't purport to be a comprehensive list.
ExxonMobil Corp. restarted its 344,500 barrel-a-day Beaumont,
Texas, refinery after a nearly three-month turnaround, the company
said on Monday.
Valero on Monday said the hydrocracker located at its Corpus
Christi, Texas, refinery is back down for repair after an attempted
restart last week. The company also said it was in the process of
restarting the Aruba refinery it shut down in July 2009. The plant
will use liquefied natural gas to reduce its utility costs.
Work at the fluid catalytic cracker Hovensa refinery operated by
Hess Corp. (HES) is ongoing, a spokesman for the refinery said
Thursday. He declined to say when gasoline-making unit -- shut on
Dec. 9 for repairs -- would resume operations.
Tesoro Corp. (TSO) expects its Golden Eagle refinery in the San
Francisco area to return to normal operating rates by Tuesday after
experiencing a power outage last week, a company spokesman said
Monday.
