3 year downtrend could be broken.

Earnings were a beat but revenue was a slight disappointment, missing estimates. The stock has been stuck in a downtrend for 3 years but we think a break is coming, this is very much dependent on the sentiment within the market.

40% fall of EFX in response to the breach will have little impact on the company’s normalized earnings. Compelling long-term investment!

As lawmakers get ready to grill Equifax CEO Richard Smith and SEC Chair Jay Clayton on Capitol Hill in the coming weeks, many wonder how the respective executives of each organization will be asked to pay for compromising the sensitive information of American individuals and companies.

Soccer music Mom Susan in charge of security.

This is why America is losing the real battle in the global economy.

No soccer moms understand the depth of importance of this position.

Appalling that this is going on.

This is why Linux and AWS is not to be trusted in the enterprise.

Perhaps might provide a morsel of protection for EFX against some who signed contracts with "fine print." I certainly never signed anything with them.

Doubt any contracts give them the right to handle data negligently. Nor would courts enforce such a clause.

I think EFX is screwed. Class actions increasing by the day. Gotta figure they leaked data on at least 1,000,000 million lawyers around the world! LOLOL!

TREND1 TREND1 7 years ago
Do you think the "fine print" will keep the class action law suites at bay ?

Will EFX survive ?

"Equifax hired music major as chief security officer and she just retired"

"When Congress hauls in Equifax CEO Richard Smith to grill him, it can start by asking why he put someone with degrees in music in charge of the company’s data security.

And then they might also ask him if anyone at the company has been involved in efforts to cover up Susan Mauldin’s lack of educational qualifications since the data breach became public.

It would be fascinating to hear Smith try to explain both of those extraordinary items."

"Equifax “Chief Security Officer” Susan Mauldin has a bachelor’s degree and a master of fine arts degree in music composition from the University of Georgia. Her LinkedIn professional profile lists no education related to technology or security."
