George R. Ditomassi Retires from the Board of Directors at Enesco Group, Inc.

The Board of Directors at Enesco Group, Inc. (NYSE:ENC), a leader
in the giftware, and home and garden decor industry, today
announced the retirement of George R. Ditomassi following the
Company's Annual Shareholders Meeting. Mr. Ditomassi served on the
Board of Directors since 2000, served in the Office of the Chairman
from January 2001 to March 2001, and was Enesco's Interim Chief
Executive Officer from August 2004 through January 2005. In 1988,
Enesco's Board adopted a policy providing for mandatory retirement
at the annual meeting of shareholders following the date on which a
director reaches age 72. Mr. Ditomassi will become age 72 later
this year and has decided to retire at this time. "We thank George
