                   Admission of new shares to trading on AIM


10 November 2003


Application has been made for 3,170,275 Ordinary Shares to be admitted to
trading and it is expected that admission will become effective tomorrow, 11
November 2003. These shares are being issued in respect of acceptances of the
Company's offer for MineGem Inc., which was declared unconditional on 4 November
2003.


European Diamonds PLC is listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in
London and its shares trade under the symbol EPD.
