Mold is already prevalent in the South, after these storms, I bet lots of homes will be condemned for Mold infestation.

The hurricanes are stacking up, avoid insurance company stocks but watch for a entry with FBM. The cleanup will boost waste hauling companies and the repair will boost FBM.

Looking over FBM's products their acoustical stuff leans towards the commercial buildings 1st floors. With their insulation products, any heating cooling system chemical plant refinery places with pipes comes to mind. ANYTHING that was saturated in standing contaminated water will need to be REPLACED. FBM's sp is already reacting to Harveys fallout. Ive been looking for a waste hauler to compliment a building supply company who preferably pays dividends with considerable growth in its future. I think FBM fits some of my criteria. Know of a public drywall company paying dividends reasonably priced?

I'll rephrase, Monday FBM printed $11.94 before the flood waters began to recede. Friday FBM printed $13.48. I believe FBM's sales will Increase for a LONG time to come thanks to mother natures fury.

Foundation Building Materials, Inc. is a specialty distributor of wallboard and suspended ceiling systems in the United States and Canada. The Company’s segments include Specialty Building Products and Mechanical Insulation. The Company fabricates and distributes its products for specialty contractors seeking to improve or maintain energy efficiency in a range of commercial and industrial buildings. It serves markets across the United States and in Canada. Specialty building products segment distributes wallboard and accessories, metal framing, suspended ceiling systems and other products. Other products include stucco and Exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS), as well as offerings, such as tools, safety accessories and fasteners. Its Mechanical insulation segment includes insulation solutions for pipes and mechanical systems and the primary end markets served are new non-residential construction, non- residential repair and remodel construction and industrial markets

Foundation Building Materials (FBM) has gone public in an IPO which has not been well received. Demand for the shares of the building materials distributor, which employs an aggressive roll-up acquisition strategy, has been very soft on the back of poor margins and high leverage being employed.

These reasons and an unusual tax receivable agreement with the sponsor of the company makes it very easy for me to avoid the shares. Despite the ¨discount¨, I see no imminent appeal given the lack of profits, or outlook for profits in the near term.
