Capital Holdings, Inc., a subsidiary of NextEra Energy, Inc. (NYSE:
NEE), today announced that it will redeem on Sept. 4, 2012, ("redemption date") all
$350 million principal amount of its
outstanding Series E Junior Subordinated Debentures due 2067 (NYSE:
FGE) (CUSIP: 65339K 407) ("debentures") at the redemption price
("redemption price") of 100 percent of the principal amount thereof
plus accrued and unpaid interest to but excluding the redemption
date.

On the redemption date, provided that the trustee has received
sufficient funds to complete the redemption, the debentures will
become due and payable and interest will cease to accrue. Payment
of the redemption price shall be made on or after the redemption
