FX Alliance Inc. (FX) has added foreign exchange options to its electronic trading platform.

Users can submit FX option request-for-quotes to multiple banks on the platform already used for trading spot, forwards, swaps and other products, the company said.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse will provide streaming electronic options prices to clients initially. Eight providers will support the post-trade settlement functions.

"As our clients' conflict-free partner of choice, we continue to invest in our technology to provide innovative products and solutions to manage risk and fulfill trading objectives," said Phil Weisberg, chief executive officer of FXAll, in a press release.
