GlaxoSmithKline PLC (GSK.LN) said Thursday that it will close a
skincare manufacturing site in Sligo, Ireland, putting 165 jobs at
risk.
The pharmaceutical company said it will wind down production
over the course of three years before closing the factory in the
second half of 2021.
Glaxo cited insufficient demand for the products produced at the
site as the reason for the closure.
