Kansas City Southern Reorganizes Leadership Over Chemical & Petroleum and Industrial & Consumer Commodity Groups

Kansas City Southern (KCS) (NYSE:KSU) today announced the
reorganization of its leadership over the Chemical & Petroleum
and Industrial & Consumer commodity groups. Previously serving
as vice president energy, industrial development and innovation,
Ginger Adamiak was appointed vice president energy and chemical
products, adding chemical and petroleum in the U.S. and Mexico to
her responsibilities. She is based in Kansas City, Mo. Yesica
Gloria Marrufo was promoted from assistant vice president sales for
metals, industrial, forest products, chemicals, and petroleum to
vice president sales and marketing for industrial and consumer
products in the U.S. and Mexico. She is based in Monterrey, Nuevo
Leon. The sales and marketing of these commodity groups were
previously led by David Eaton, who was recently appointed vice
president operations for Kansas City Southern de Mexico, S.A. de
C.V. (KCSM).

Ms. Adamiak has over 30 years of experience in sales and
marketing, banking, treasury, investor relations, structured
financing, leasing and market analysis, including over 20 years of
rail industry experience. She joined the company in 2006 as
director investor relations. She was promoted to assistant vice
president marketing in 2011, assistant vice president finance in
2015 and vice president energy, industrial development and
innovation in 2018. Prior to joining KCS, she spent nine years with
GATX Corporation. She holds a master of business administration in
finance and economics from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School
of Management and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is fluent in
English and Spanish.
Ms. Gloria Marrufo has over 20 years of experience in railroad
sales and marketing. She joined the company in 1997. Since 2008,
she has served as assistant vice president for the carload sales
team. She holds a master of business administration and a
bachelor’s degree in international studies from the UDEM
(Universidad de Monterrey) Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. She has also
attended Leadership and Management in a Global Economy (2012) and
Harvard Extension Business School at the UDEM. She is fluent in
Spanish and English.
