Appointment of Director

The Board of MacLellan announces that Alan Miles Howarth has been appointed a
non-executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.

Mr Howarth, aged 57, is currently a director of Compass Management Consulting
Limited and Alan Howarth & Associates Limited.  Until 1999, Alan was also a
partner in Ernst & Young; he has held no other directorships in the past five
years.

There is no further information that needs to be disclosed under the AiM Rules.
