Standard & Poor's Announces Change to U.S. Index

NEW YORK, Dec. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Silgan Holdings Inc.
(NASDAQ: SLGN) will replace Marvel Entertainment Inc. (NYSE:MVL) in
the S&P MidCap 400 after the close of trading on Thursday,
December 31. Marvel is being acquired by S&P 100 & 500
constituent The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) in a deal expected
to be completed on or about that date. Standard & Poor's will
