John Harris Joins Piper Jaffray as Financial Investment Banker CHICAGO, May 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Piper Jaffray & Co. is pleased to announce that John Harris has joined the firm as a managing director and investment banker in the firm's investment banking financial institutions group. He will be based in the Piper Jaffray Chicago office. Prior to joining Piper Jaffray, Harris was a banker at William Blair & Company in Chicago and The Chicago Corporation/ABN AMRO. Harris focused primarily on activities with financial services companies, with particular emphasis on merger and acquisitions advisory and capital raising assignments in the banking industry. He received his bachelor's of science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and served as a submarine officer following graduation. Harris also received his master's of business administration degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
