MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Piper Jaffray & Co. is pleased to announce that William Quirk has joined the firm as a senior research analyst covering medical diagnostics. Quirk will be located in the firm's headquarter office in Minneapolis. Quirk joins the firm from RBC Capital Markets, where he was a senior research analyst covering medical devices with a focus on diagnostics. Prior to that, he was a research analyst at Paine Webber in New York. Quirk holds the chartered financial analyst (CFA) designation. Additionally, David Clair is joining Piper Jaffray as an associate research analyst working with Quirk to cover medical diagnostics.
