MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Piper Jaffray has
promoted three research analysts to senior research analysts and
deepened the firm's coverage in the health care and financial
services sectors. Josh Elving, Mark Mullikin and Melissa Mullikin
were promoted to senior research analysts at the firm's Minneapolis

and respiratory companies. He joined Piper Jaffray in 2002 and has
covered the medical technology space for more than four years.
Mullikin has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University
of Chicago and a Master of Business Administration degree from the
Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology in Cambridge, Mass. Melissa Mullikin covers health care
services companies, including specialty pharmacies, pharmacy
benefit managers (PBMs) and managed care companies. She has been
with Piper Jaffray since 2003 and has covered healthcare IT
companies, laboratory companies, specialty retailers and apparel
manufacturers. She has a bachelor's degree in political science
from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn., and a master's degree
in public affairs and policy analysis from the La Follette School
