Piper Jaffray will join with ChinaVenture, a leading investment
research institution, to host the Piper Jaffray & ChinaVenture
Investment Conference on March 11, 2008 in Shanghai. The
conference, themed �Investing in China: Rational Thinking Behind
Prosperity,� will address debated topics in the China market,
including investment trends and new opportunities in 2008, China�s
rising consumerism and its impact across the board, and China�s IPO
and M&A markets. The conference will begin with a general
session featuring an opening address from Alex Ko, CEO of Piper
Jaffray Asia, and Jay Chen, founder and board director of
ChinaVenture, as well as keynote speeches from executives,
including Robin Li, chairman and CEO of Baidu.com, Inc. Attendees
will then have the opportunity to participate in three different
conference tracks and engage in panel discussions with management
