Harvey Zabinsky Joins Piper Jaffray as Director of Fixed Income Strategy CHICAGO, July 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Piper Jaffray & Co. is pleased to announce the hire of Harvey Zabinsky as Director of Fixed Income Strategy in Investment Research. Zabinsky will lead the firm's efforts to ensure that fixed income products are effectively aligned with strategy recommendations and guidance. He will be located in Piper Jaffray's Chicago office. Zabinsky joins the firm with more than 20 years of experience both within the industry and in education. Most recently, he worked at Banc One where he served for more than 10 years as managing director and head of its Fixed Income Strategy Group. At Banc One, Zabinsky managed a group of 10 portfolio and market analysts, performing quantitative analysis of customer portfolios. For the past eight years, he has also been a professor of finance at Illinois Institute of Technology at the Stuart School of Business. Zabinsky began his teaching career at the University of Kentucky in Lexington and at Loyola University of Chicago, where he taught International trade and finance and monetary economics.
