Pulitzer Inc. Announces Increase in Quarterly Dividend ST. LOUIS, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors of Pulitzer Inc. today announced the increase of the quarterly dividend on its Common Stock and Class B Common Stock to $0.19 per share from $0.18 per share. The cash dividend is payable February 2, 2004 to shareholders of record on January 16, 2004. "Pulitzer Inc. has increased the dividend each year since it became a public company in 1986," noted Robert C. Woodworth, president and chief executive officer. "With this dividend increase, the Board has once again reaffirmed the Company's commitment to increasing shareholder value and its confidence in our strategic direction." Pulitzer Inc., through various subsidiaries and affiliated entities, is engaged in newspaper publishing and related new media activities.
