Dow Jones News
Satyam Computer Services Ltd.'s (500376.BY) board will meet on
Sept. 29 to consider the audited financial results for the years
ended March 31, 2009, and March 31, 2010, the software company said
in a newspaper advertisement Tuesday.
The company hasn't declares its results for the past two fiscal
years after founder B. Ramalinga Raju confessed in January 2009 to
overstating the firm's profits for years, using a fictitious cash
balance of more than $1 billion. The company is also restating its
accounts for the past six to seven years.
Earlier, the Company Law Board--a quasi-judicial body--had given
the company a three-month extension from the end of June to declare
its results for the past two financial years.
